There is a difference when it comes to heating and cooling. The Trane line of Axiom™ horizontal and vertical water-source heat pumps are built to take heating and cooling to a whole new level. A superior design makes the Axiom units one of the quietest and most efficient on the market. Every unit is constructed with more "value-added" features that ultimately give the Axiom units more flexibility and a lower life cycle cost.

Airflow Combinations

Axiom units offer multiple supply and return air combinations, including a "same side" option (horizontal) to provide greater flexibility and freedom in unit placement while minimizing ductwork.

The GEH Model supports six airflow combinations. All airflow configurations may be field converted or order specific. The same side supply/return configuration allows the unit to be placed against a wall, eliminating the need for additional space and ductwork.

The GEV Model supports four airflow combinations. The airflow configurations may be field converted with a retrofit kit, or factory specified.
